Paypal Payments Addon Configuration

Hi again,

I have a question (yes, another one :neutral: );

In the Paypal Payments Addon configuration there is a field that says "VOIDED", and, by defect the correspondant payment status is set to "Processed", but, doesn't voided means canceled? And if this is the case whouldn't the payment status be set to "Canceled" and not "Processed"? I'm afraid one of these days I'll be sending out an order with no payment...

Hi Tânia - I have run into this same question. I found some info that might help clear this up for you, but I'm still a bit unsure myself.

The "Voided" status is defined in the Paypal documentation (https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/ipn/integration-guide/IPNandPDTVariables - next to the "payment_status" item in the "Payment information variables" section) as: "This authorization has been voided". Given that this has to do with the authorization, it seems to me that the CS Cart status should either be "Canceled" as you indicated, or "Failed". Does anyone know of a reason why this shouldn't be changed from "Processed"?
