got email today from paypal:
Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notifications (IPN). IPNs sent to the following URL(s) are failing:
http://www.domain.com (our website)
If you do not recognize this URL, you may be using a service provider that is using IPN on your behalf. Please contact your service provider with the above information. If this problem continues, IPNs may be disabled for your account.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this issue.
we are getting this every 2 -3 hours.
does any one know why?
I believe you have to turn off/disable IPNs in your PayPal account because CS-Cart doesn’t accept them from PayPal. I have mine turned off and have received a few payments via PayPal since going live on Monday. I haven’t received any emails from PayPal about this issue.
I’m getting these same emails however my IPN settings were still pointing to my old web server… Sounds like PayPal is starting to do some random checks to see if the IPN url’s are still valid
i have no idea what they are checking but we are still getting it.
we have turned off IPN from paypal account and got the email again.
Cs-cart is very strange, with every new update something goes wrong. i think i wont be updating any more unless they come up with something totally new and stable.

Thats is why I am still on 2.07
IPN in paypal should be disabled.
I’m getting the same problem. Despite disabling IPN in PayPal Website Payments Pro and stopping an old app from using the IPN (not CSCart), I continue to get the message every time an order is processed using CSCart and Website Payments Pro.
Given CSCART does not use IPN it makes no sense.
What is the difference between PayPal Pro and PayPal Express? We have tried the Express method and it works fine. No IPN errors (the IPN is disabled in PayPal account).
Even though you cleared the Paypal IPN it
takes about 5 days for it to enter the syatem.
So you will continue getting those annoying emails for few days.

Website Payments Pro is a higher level of CC processing service that PayPal offers. You can accept direct payments via API or IPN, Express Checkout and Virtual Terminal with this service.
