I am still having problems with setting up my Paypal API.
I have downloaded the certifcate number and have tried to place it in the following loaction…
admin>payment methods>paypal express>configure>certificate filename…
The characters get cut off and I can only cut and paste half. Am I in the correct place?
Here is the message I get form Help Desk…
It seems that the problem occurs because an incorrect file name is specified in the Certificate filename text input field on the editing payment method page in your CS-Cart admin panel. You should download the PayPal certificate file on the API Access page of your personal account at http://www.paypal.com and put it to the payments/certificates directory of your CS-Cart installation. After this you should specify the name of the file in the Certificate filename text input field.
Please check it and let us know the result.
Thank you.

Maybe I need to concentrate on what help desk means by"“”“”“payments/certificates directory of your CS-Cart installation. After this you should specify the name of the file in the Certificate filename text input field.”“”“”"
Thanks for any help…

David,
have you tried using with signature field rather than the certificate?

When I go into paypal.com and my account for my API, all they give me is a certifiacte and not a signature option.
Thoughts?

Log into PayPal
Go to profile
Under the heading Account Information click on the Request API credentials
There is then two options
Option 1 Grant API credentials
Option 2 View API Signature
Click on option 2 and copy the settings into your payment method settings in admin
