I tried it for about 4 months just to see how it would work out and it worked fine.
I would then process the credit card manually through paypal after they ordered.

Hi Thanks for that CutRiteFX.
If you don’t mind could you tell me how to install it please.
Will understand if you are too busy.
Thanks

Not a problem,
Go to Admin/Payment Methods.
Click on Add Payment
In the Name I typed in Credit Card (offline processing)
Under Processor select OFFLINE
Under Template select cc.cpl
And then you should be done.
When a user selects this as a payment they will put in their credit card info and place the order. The order will be left in an OPEN status until you manually process the credit card on your own. When you go to the order you will see the credit card info in there. Once you process the credit card on your own you can then change the status of the order to Processed and click on remove cc info. This way the order does not still contain the credit card numbers ect.
Hope this helps.
I think BarryH means this http://www.payoffline.com/Merchants/Default.aspx
A customer places an order online and payoffline produces a barcode for them to print off and take to a shop that has a payzone terminal (where you pay various bills in the UK such as electric, gas, council tax etc) which is nearly every shop or take it to a post office.
The shop scans the barcode, the customer pays them and the money is transfered to your bank account within a few days, I used use it when I had a shop with ekmpowershop who had it already integrated.

but cvv (digits on back ) are sorta illegal to store! was reading some literature from hsbc that if that information was hacked from your site and used to make a purchase online the shop owner would be responsible for the payment ie if they bought a plasma screen/car you’d have to pay the bill.
Hello
Did anyone actually manage to install the ‘Payoffline’ payment method?
I’ve just been approved for an account and would like to intergrate it into my site.

No unfortunately we tried but had no luck!!
Hello BarryH
I just spotted your answer.
I’ve been approved for a PayOffline account but cannot integrate it myself. I asked CS Cart themselves how much it would cost to get them to integrate it and they quoted me $320.
If you wanted to, is there any way we could commission them to do the integration and split the cost between the two of us?
Let me know your thoughts on this… I don’t think I’m going to get the work done if it’s going to cost me the whole $320, I just can’t justify it at the moment.
Oh, and I will be upgrading to the latest version of CS Cart soon, so the integration will be for version 2.0.

Hi sorry for delay, just spotted this. No would be the short answer at this point as I can’t justify additional cost right now!
Sorry about that, if a few others came on board I might reconsider.
No worries BarryH
I’ve put this one on the back burner as well for now. It’s not integral to my business and I can’t justify the cost at the moment either.
I would definitely consider if more people were to come on board to help pay for integration of this payment method though, so I’ll keep my eyes open for other posts on the forum.
