Is there a way to automatically send a packing slip to a supplier along with the order notification?
Also, is there a way to create a packing slip that has only the items of a particular supplier on it? (Similar to the notification sent to the supplier with the order notification).

It should be standard way of doing things, but it isn't. So you would need custom development to do it.
