Order From One Vendor Only

Finally got to see how an order from multiple vendors looks like, and we want to switch the system so that a customer can place an order from one vendor only. Meaning, he can't add items from multiple vendors to the same cart.

Is there an add-on for this? I think I seen something about this, but now I can't find it.

How would you like it to work if customers try to add products from more than one vendor?

Do not you think that you loose customers with such behaviour?

Ok, so what about a different way.

2 items in the cart from 2 different vendors. Buyer sees one payment only, but our PayPal receives 2 transactions. Is there such a thing? Is it possible?

This is paying to 2 vendors directly, I need 2 payments to our PayPal account.

Additional custom development work is required in this way. Unfortunately it is not possible on the clean installation
