Whenever I check my abandoned cart area, every day for the past several months (maybe even years) this one IP (31.184.238) with some variations at the end always adds the same product to the cart about 50 times a day. The IP is out of Russia. Any idea what the point of this would be? I finally just decided to deny that ip in my .htaccess but curious what is going on.
So blocked that ip and several others that were adding this one item to the cart. But now I am getting hundreds of ATC each day from all kinds of different IPs now for that same product. So annoying! What is the point of this? Just to annoy the website owner? I am concerned that it could be used to deplete re-marketing advertising budget too.
