I’ve tried that repeatedly but still get a single result. Not sure what the problem is.

This is pretty much exactly what I did and it worked.
Please, could anyone who gets only one result provide me with the products (and categories)? It will help me to find the reason for this behaviour.

P.S. you do not need to clear&build&clear&build.
Just install, create catalog and clear the cache (if you used it before). Then the catalog will be updated automatically. You can also disable the “using cache” option for the tests.

I found the problem. So, you can download a new version (1.7) of this addon (the link was updated).
Changelog:
[!] The search always returned only one result despite the fact that there were a lot of products. Fixed.
You just need to upload a new version and clear the cache (if you used this option).
P.S. I think the next change will be as follows: do not show the search drop-down menu until all the images are loaded (if the “Show images” option is enabled)

hmm from my site i show 10 img at the time. it is down within a ½ sec or less

Yes, you are right, The loading usually takes about half a second or a second, but there are some hosts with a slow speed. So, the customer will see the ugly list (especially if the ALT of these images is quite long). Indeed, this is not a big problem, but it will be better to make it optional.

I’ve just noticed that Quick Search doesn’t consider Category Availibility / User Groups when displaying results. Items which exist in restricted categories continue to appear in search results to customers who don’t have access to them.

This addon is almost perfect and I really like that you can use the keyboard, although I have found one issue.
If you use the keyboard to click up and down the list and then hit return on the option, it pulls back the description and performs the search, whereas if you click on a result it loads the product page.
Can the return from the keyboard not perform the same function as the mouse click?
I read this whole thread multiple times thinking I missed something and could not get it to work.
If I type in 1 word and hit enter before the quick search results show it finds the products. If I wait and select 1 of the suggested quick results and press enter it returns no results.
I am running ISAPI-REWRITE on IIS with SEO turned on. Could this be messing up the search results???

Download it using firefox. For some reason through this forum gzipped files get corrupted when you download them from IE.
