Nearly 1 month and still no install - please help. 4.0.3 New Install

I've been back and forth with this and at the end of the day - 1 month on and I still don't have a storefront.



The point I am at now is when I try and install 4.0.3.



The install goes along and then throws me back to the license screen at the beginning of the install process.



The last few lines of the log display:

I am at a complete loss and seriously thinking about giving up.



I am running on a UNIX box with MySQL 5 database. In previous CS_CART versions you needed to uncomment the following. That line isn't in the 4.0.3 version, but I added it anyway. Still no luck.





// Uncomment this line if you experience problems with mysql5 server (disables strict mode)

define('MYSQL5', true);

It sounds like server issues/configuration. Have you contacted CS via helpdesk?

Did you find the answer to this question? I am having the same problem and got the same response from CS-CART when I created a ticket. This line //define('MYSQL5', true); is simply not in config.php …

Have you compared the requirements between the server and CSCart?

Just a thought.

I had a similar problem with installing 4.0.2 with the exact same symptoms,

I discovered that I had created the database in c-panel and created the user. But had forgotten to give the user any permissions.

When I did it worked immediately.
