none of the documentation indicates if multiple images for a product is supported. All of our products must have views from various angles, and one picture alone is not adequate. Is this something that can be done?

In order to show different images of a product, you should upload additional images to the “Images” tab of a necessary product (Products → Products → link of the necessary product → Images)

You can also import them in bulk via csv file.
Add your images to a product via admin then export the images via admin/export/images and you will see how the csv is set up

There is no restriction on uploading images in the CS-Cart installation. You can upload as many pictures as you want. Also please note that if you have any restrictions, they depend on your server settings.

May I know whether CS cart can put multiple thumbnail images below the main pic just like:

Yes it can, go to product/then images tab at the top…you can upload extra images here.
also if you want to import them all in 1 go to all products, just create csv with product code and image pathlike below
Product code Pair type detailed image

212 A http://www.yoursecondaddintional_imagepath.com
and so on, if you have 20 images for one product just do 20 lines 9all with same product code) just the image path will change
