Multi Vendor - Downloadable Trial

Is there the possibility of getting a downloadable trial of the multi vendor edition?

It seems at the below link it is only for the professional version:

Ideally if we could get this downloadable trial it would give us the right amount of control to get everything setup and tested to see if things are working as we require them to, get a template designed and also have the ability to demo to potential vendors to get them signed up, as soon as that happens it would be just a case of purchasing the licence and going live. it is quite hard to sign up vendors without showing them what they are getting into to and how it will work for them.

Thanks

Hello, elogic.

Currently, there is no trial version for CS-Cart Multi-Vendor Edition. The 60-day free trial version is available for CS-Cart Professional Edition only.

As a solution, you may use a personal demo of CS-Cart Multi-Vendor Edition to see our software in action - https://www.cs-cart.com/personal-demo.html

Thanks for your reply, this is as I expected however the personal demo which I have already tried doesn’t give us the flexibility to demo to potential vendors which we need in order to be able to get enough signed up before we go live with the project.

Is there a trial version of the multi-vendor product planned at all?

Thanks

Dear elogic,

Yes, the trial version of CS-Cart Multi-Vendor Editon may be introduced in the future but its release date has not been set yet so I cannot say exactly when it can happen.

Thank you.

I am also waiting on a trial version of Multi-vendor. I need to see how it will work for my vendors before committing to purchase.

STeve.

Haven’t you tried the personal demo -How to create a B2B website? Get a personal demo. ?

After submitting the form, you will have the access to your personal demo version (hosted on our server) and will be able to make any changes in it to demonstrate it to your clients or partners or just check whether it meets your needs.

I can’t properly test and demonstrate the multi-vendor aspects using the personal version. Anyhow, the multi-vendor version appears to be more like a multi-product line or multi-department version rather than a true multi-vendor version. I’m not prepared to spend the money on something that I can’t test properly.

Could you clarify in more details what exact things cannot be tested in the personal demo?
A trial version makes a lot of sense. It would give us the chance to set it up as a showcase to our potential vendors.

Suggest you don’t make it a simple download form though - would be best to screen potential customers first.

Please make this happen in the next few days. I am sure many of those interested would go for the full purchase once having tested it.

Thank you
Take the plunge - you wont be dissapointed - I spent the full 15 days demoing the Multi Vendor to see if the way it works would fit my business model.

I found a few little snags (not deal breakers) that need fixing/adapting - but the product is very sound - especially as it is still in iits first versions. (It is built around a very stable and established code base from CS-Pro)

If you have a potential market and are seriously considering starting a business around a Multi-Vendor solution - I highly recommend CS-Cart. (Having dealt with other Multi Vendor carts this is a breath of fresh air)

It is true that there are some features that you just CANNOT use as they have not been adapted to work with the MV version- e.g. the point system. if you ask the CS-Team about what you can and cannot do they are very open and honest. (They will not pretend that something is possible - they prefer to just say no - sorry, but you can pay for it extra, so you know where you stand.)

Their support model is a little too stringent in my opinion and there are some things that you would expect to be implemented as standard which they may say you have to pay for. (At the end of the day they are a business and have not got to where they are by doing everything for free - but a little more give on their part would make them for me the absolute best)

All in all - I purchased MV, have set it up and am now in the process of signing up vendors. If you are serious about a MV solution - go for it.

M Michael

You might want to do some research before you do your presentation here. secure cart hosting as I have read on some articles will soon be out and I do not think your clients will be too happy to read that what you are presenting is not there anymore.

The good thing with a vps is not needed to be owned as a whole as you can use the same thing on each machine you have.

Hi there!

Good news: we will introduce the trial version of CS-Cart Multi-vendor edition along with the nearest release. Just in 1-2 weeks.
