Hello,
we are using UPS shipping method, and one of our options for products is quantity, which effects the product pricing…
so for each product quantity, we specify 1000, 2500 and 5000 and it’s corresponding price.
since the quantity purchased changes the # of boxes shipped, we need to have an option in our options to specify the box count for each option item…
so should look something like this:
quantity price box count
1000 $20 1
2500 $40 2
5000 $60 3
and so on…and use this box count to come up with the correct shipping fees.
each of our boxes are one size, so the default size specified in the UPS settings would work. we just need to be able to specify the box count for each quantity set ordered.
has anyone done anything similar?

There is a request in the UserVoice forum to add support for both dimensional shipping rate calculations and multi-box shipments. You might want to vote to have this done and leave any comments/suggestions:

No idea of if or when it might me implemented. However, the devlopers have been pretty responsive to popular suggestions in the UserVoice system so the more votes, the more likely it will be addressed ahead of other issues.
