Missing An Order Number

I just noticed in my orders that I am missing an order # from yesterday.

I have an order #121 and # 123 and they are 6 hours apart. Where is order # 122 ?

Any suggestions on how to find the missing number?

All of my invoices do match my sales account, I don't have any extra money in my account.

I just found the incompleted orders link from the quick menu drop down. It was not listed there.

I checked my logs and shows that it was created by the same person that created the next order(an hour later).

I do get same, not often but do on old 2x cart. Create missing order from the email sent to admin.

Most possibly he decided not to pay the first order for some reason. So the order status remained Incomplete.

I wasn't sure if this was a problem or not.

I would think that I would get an incomplete status though.

In orders you can see other incomplete orders by clicking on the gear on the right side that don't show on the quick menu

Did you get 2 different payments from the buyer ?

I use PayPal standard and if someone makes a purchase

and doesn't select 'Return to merchant' before making a second purchase

the first order vanishes from CS-Cart and all items go back into stock.

Thankfully I get email notifications, so when it happens I have to run around

marking all the items ( we sell single items ) as out of stock.
