Recently, I have made a deal with a new shipping agent and they have a new rule for bigger and chunky shipments.
For every shipment which is larger than 100cm in any dimension DHL adds 20 EUR flat increase. I am using manual calculation based on rate areas.
I was not able to find an option to add a condition on shipping method based on product dimensions. I would have simply increased the shipping weight of the product but this flat increase is not added by any other carriers.
So long story short, is there a way to increase the shipping price based on dimensions of the product?
Currently you can control that only on the product level. Use the Shipping freight field for large items

Thanks for replying to my question.
I have tried working with Shipping Freight - Product property. However, that increase gets reflected on all shipping methods. Only 1 shipping method has this charge for bulky packets. The rest of them apply normal dimensional increases.
I think this is basic option which should be added to CS Cart shipment methods. There also has to be conditions based on the dimensions of the product. I hope this request can be taken as a feedback to developers.
