I’m working on an addon that will enable a store owner to clone a skin and view it and work on it separately from what the customers view (or create a revision from a revision, etc.). This has always been a sore point with me related to cs-cart. I.e. you can’t make changes to the customer area without it being reflected in the store without a whole separate instance of the cart.
I have most of it working correctly, it was fairly straight-forward. However, the upgrade issues definately need some thought/discussion before being implemented. Any revision created from a standard skin should be upgradeable (or the inverse if the revision is the active skin).
This will be a licensed addon. I can offer 3 people a lifetime license for help in testing and collaboration on issues.
