Has anyone heard of or had any experience with www.lemonstandapp.com?
It’s a new shopping, just gone live with the 1st release. Seems to be a strong competitor to CS-Cart.
Part from its features, what else impresses me the most is its reponse time in the forum. I post several questions in the forum, and got reponses from the developer within the same day, and when I replied, I got the responses the same day.
New - means dangerous for live sites, plenty of wasted hours, compatibility issues, x100 bugs and so on. Is there anything CS doesn’t have when comparing to LS? Definitely, LS doesn’t have many things CS provides.
Software is like cheese. It matures with time. And I love matured cheese.

Yeah, I would agree with you.
However, with CS-Cart, waiting for a response from the CS team, or wait for them to fix all the issues, sometimes can be a bit frustrating. They don’t seem to repond very well.
They don’t provide a location in the about us.
Any idea where they are from?

It’s real easy to quickly respond to forum or email requests when you have no business…

not much different from cs-cart then with its multiple bugs that they refuse to fix…
For 300USD LS want, I rather stay with CS, which have hundreds of customers where some of them are really happy + fantastic forum members.
I do agree that some of the CS problems should be fixed quicker. The sad thing is, most of the companies like CS is focused too much on money making in a short term rather than being loyal to their members and think long term business. I myself was quoted ridiculous amount of money for a payment gateway and decided to spend it buying 2 licenses from another competitor. This was something in their interest as all of the competitors were already providing this gateway implemented for free. So, no perfect cart nor solution is available.
Anyway, I will stay with CS as long as I need to and I hope, their relationship with loyal member will improve. Regarding LS, let them get better, implement more functions, get into trouble and then we’ll see how good LS team is.
