Is There A Way To Change The Background Images In Different Parts Of Your Site?

I was wondering if there was a way in version 4.1.5 to change to a different background image depending on which category you were in? For example, if I am in the “classic auto” category the background image (or it sounds like it may be called the 'hero area image') might be some type of classic car. If I go over the the “auto parts” the background image might be something to do with tools or wrenches. Right now the only thing I can seem to figure out is to make it 1 background image for the whole site.

Unfortunately there is no such ability in CS-Cart.Additional custom development work is required here. If you are interested, please contact me.

Thanks for the reply ecomlabs. Right now we are researching some of our different design options. It just seemed like a simple enough think and I figured I was missing something. Guess not.

It is required to add a new section to all categories where the admin will be able to upload new image. Also I think there should be the “Apply to all subcategories” check box. Unfortunately CS-Cart does not have these features.

Try the different main categories. You can also set the subcategoriew to inherit this or just put a different image in every category . You may also set to have always white in the middle

AS said before you can override Header, footer, set white the central grid, you can set all the Category Background and let subcategories inherit this



This in combination with the standard background change from visual editor is capable to make infinite combinations of Backgrounds
