Is It Possible To Load New Vendors Via Csv?

I want to load a large batch (about 600) of new vendors using a CSV file to the latest Multivendor. Is this possible or should I use another method? Do I have to manually create the new Merchant/Vendor or can I use a file and dump them into the database somehow? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, there is no way to do it on the clean installation. Additional code modifications are required.
