I personally do not like new theme mobile bottom functionality. I have to leave the page to quick view cart or other menu?
A person collecting many items to cart must leave category or product details page in order to see whats in cart? Seems like regress not progress or am i not getting something here?
Isnβt that a common behaviour on many large ecommerce sites? Even on Amazon you will be taken to the cart content page. I think customers already expect that.
Unitheme is one of the few that enable quick viewing of cart by clicking on the cart menu.
I think the mobile bottom menus are useful and inline with modern mobile design. A user can add the site to their Home Screen and get an app-like experience.
not sure about others, but on sites you mentioned usually buy just one of few items. Since I sell for business where sometimes they buy even 50 units of different products, it is handy to have sliding cart without need to leave page (speaking about emerald theme).
Got you. So you donβt think the bottom nav in general would be appreciated by your business customers? Even if slightly modified to behave the way you want it? I mean sounds like your site is already thriving, perhaps you could hire a pro to customise it?
