Incomplete Order Status

Hi

I am using cs-cart. A customer has placed an order but emailed in saying the order is incomplete. I have found the order ID in incomplete orders. The payment has been taken. Why has this come through to incomplete order? The customer also used a card method not PayPal.

I have this same issue with a user who used PayPal and again the money has been taken from the customer.

How can I prevent this from happening in future and why has this happened?

Any help would be really appreciated.

It looks like the payment method was not well configured. It looks like the payment processor did not receive a response from the payment system. Do you have a set address in PayPal where to receive payment notification in Profile website payments on PayPal ?

Yes there is a set address in PayPal.

Why would this have happened with a card payment?

I only found out this happened because the customer emailed me which made me look at past orders that are incomplete but some have been paid.

Be sure you’re using the correct protocol in your PayPal return url (http or https).

PayPal has a built-in system of payment with credit card. Did you use a PayPal credit card system of you have a seperate system/payment processor to process credit card payment?
