Improper Format Display On Smartphone (Ipad, Iphone, Android, ..)

Hi



I run latest Cs-cart (v 4.1.2). When access to the site, we have proper view (display) on PC (Windows) but wrong format (no image and incorrect layout) on smart phone



Could you guy please advise us how to fix this problem?

HI

There is an issue with some mobile providers, When gzip_css_js in local. config is set to “true” when the compressed files are sent to the mobile device the provider will modify the files.

This breaks the css, the way to test this is try and view your page on the mobile device via the mobile network and then connect to WiFi.

On WiFi the page should be OK. You could also set gzip_css.js to “false”

The above will depend on which country you are in, for me this applies to O2 in Ireland and UK maybe elsewhere.

I tried to use on WIFI with different sets of [color=#282828][font=arial, verdana, tahoma, sans-serif]gzip_css.js true|false [/font][/color]and reload httpd, the probem are still the same.



Also turned off WIFI and turn on 3G, changed different sets and the problem are the same

Can you give a URL for the site, it would help a lot to be able to see what is going on.

I have a look at the site on my PC displays fine, I then loaded it onto my Samsung Tab and Samsung S5 and both are not displaying the css.

But if I click on the browser setting and check request desktop site on the mobile devices, your site displays properly.

I am not sure what is causing this.

But are you using myaddons for any of your css.

No I dont. We had fresh v4.1.2 installation. First few days it s working well. But then it has css failed on smart phone as you see

If it is still broken at this stage and you have not altered any of the css in any way, Then you should try and disable all add-on's and see if that makes a difference.
