To import your database you can make use of a built-in Import/Export module which allows to import and export products (regular and downloadable), customers and orders data via correspondingly formatted CSV file.

Use navigation links inside blue section and tabs to switch between different objects that can be imported. Here you can import products, additional product images and other store object like Orders and Users.
