On invoices the images don’t always come through straight. The link looks like so:
But once is shows up like so:
And it was visible.
What gives?
Where are you seeing the img tags referenced above? The email agent should be embedding all images into the email framework. I.e. (or some ugly identifier).
See if this might point to a solution:

Those tags are from the emails themselves.
I found the issue, there was definitely a bug.
