Http to https 301 in ahrefs

ahrefs audit finds my pages as http and then shows a 301 to https. I think everything should be https from the start so I think I’m missing something.
My security settings show Enable secure connection for the storefront and Enable secure connection in the administration panel: are both checked.

Is it normal for ahrefs to find the HTTP version which does 301 to a https version? or is there something else I need to change?

using CS-Cartv4.16.2.SP1

It works correctly if, with the Enable secure connection for the storefront option enabled, links to the HTTP version of the site redirect to the HTTPS version.
