html catalog

Hi,



Can anyone please explain the uses for the html catalog feature?



I can produce a catalog OK - but it seems to simply be a copy of the website [or part there of - depending on the categories you select].



You need to view it while you are online in order to see the images. If that is the case you may as well simply view the website.



I thought this feature would produce an ‘off line’ type of ebook to email to clients etc who do not use the internet.

Hi, I am a new user and have just changed my domain and reinstalled with the 1.3.3…



There are no “html” pages in the “catalog” and they are still using php? codes to pass the arguments. I don’t see any search engine friend pages. Can anyone explain?

in the admin panel under the administration box on the right click on HTML Catalog and click on generate, you should then have an HTML Catalog.
