how to translate $field.description simply?

hi, i am a newbie of php.

I am running a cs-cart3 test.

I found a small problem in “\skins\basic\customer\views\profiles\components\profile-fields.tpl"：



fieldname.description like “First name, Last name, Phone…” are not translated to the local language on step 2 while i am using one step checkout.



In the following code:



{if $pref_field_name != $field.description || $field.required == “Y”}

[color=#c00000]{$field.description}[/color]{if $field.required != “Y”} ({$lang.optional}){else}*{/if}

{/if}



[color=#c00000]i change {$field.description} ->[/color]



{if $field.description == “First name”}{$lang.first_name}{/if}{if $field.description == “Last name”}{$lang.last_name}{/if}{if $field.description == “E-mail”}{$lang.email}{/if}{if $field.description == “Phone”}{$lang.phone}{/if}{if $field.description == “Address”}{$lang.address}{/if}{if $field.description == “City”}{$lang.city}{/if}{if $field.description == “Country”}{$lang.country}{/if}{if $field.description == “State/province”}{$lang.state}{/if}{if $field.description == “Zip/postal code”}{$lang.zipcodes}{/if}



and it works.



but, i think it's a newbie fix, waiting for a master method.
