How to make phone NOT mandatory, and let vendors edit profile?

hi i have multivendor edition, but when i ask a question there no one answers, lol.

so I ask here


  1. right now its mandatory a vendor puts in phone number. How do I remove this?

    I dont want phone numbers on the site because
  • Robots scraping
  • I want all communication from buyer and seller THROUGH my site, so its recorded.



    so how do I remove this mandatory phone option? I dont want phone number printed live on site anyways.


  1. How do I let vendors edit their own profile? If they want to add a picture later, or an email, etc, they cant.

Hi, I have the same question neigoro asked four months ago… is it possible to remove elements from the vendor's profile page? Does anyone know whether cscartrocks.com vendor profile makes this easier to do?
