How To Image Thumbnails Sharper?

I use GD library for image resizing. Product thumbnails are very blurry. Is there any parameters to make the thumbnail sharper?

P.S. I also use the watermark addon. Not sure if there's anything to do with this addon.

GD library should not be the cause of the problem. Make sure that the detailed images size is bigger than the thumbnails size.
