OK so here is the deal.
I tried using the watermark mod located here:
Watermarks addon changes - Dev talks - CS-Cart Forums
Well, long story short, I could not get it to work.
So, I deleted it. I also deleted the cache after.
Now, my images no longer pop up in the little box (light box).
Whenever a thumbnail is clicked it takes you to a new page and loads the image from there.
How can I get the popup box back?
Also, I get the following error when pressing the back button in my browser after clicking on an image.
The image “http://www.mywebsitehere.com/images/detailed/0/Kobe_Bryant_Lower_Merion_High_School_Swingman_Jersey_33_RED.jpg†cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You sure it's not a local browser cache issue? Try doing a CTRL + F5.

Thank you for the help once again.
I did clear the cache locally, tried different computers, and deleted via ftp.
I am pretty sure when I uploaded the stupid .htaccess file to my images directory it screwed things up for the rest of the site.
Like I said, I removed all the files that I added, so for some reason those files affected other files in the system.
I even did a database restore and it did not fix the problem.

When you say you deleted the addon, did you disable, uninstall and then delete it? You may want to try and upload the files again and install it again. Then disable and uninstall the addon.

Well technically it was not even an addon , I guess it would be called a mod. However, I never modified anything, I simply added two files to my image dir. One of them was a .htaccess file which I suspect messed things up.
However, now I am starting to think that it may have been a coincidence because I had a full restore done to before this issue started, including every file, folder etc, and then the problem was fixed.
Shortly after I changed some banners around, company logo, imported some products, changed around some block settings and then suddenly the problem came back again!
Anyhow, I have paid for support credits and will let cs-cart figure it out. Thinking about it now, I am pretty sure it is a bug in the cart.
I also found 2 other threads here where they had the same issue as me. So that also makes me think it is a cart issue.

Anyhow, I will update this if and when they give me the solution.
