I cannot find any upgrade instructions or manual for 2.2.2
They are not in the download package either. Can someone point me to them?
Thanks!
You may want to tell what version you are upgrading from
Current versions can be upgraded from the admin area in Administration - Upgrade center
How do you upgrade from a test installation of Multi Vendor to the Professional version that has now been purchased?
The multi vendor installation however has many products, images, web pages, etc. As it was a free 60 day installation, how do I “downgrade” to the licenced professional edition?
The export EXIM is a joke. It doesn’t cover half of the fields available for products, and does not include ANY of the fields filled with data from CS-Cart addon’s linked to the product either, and so many other things.
There must be a way of Upgrading in future via the regular install process.
p.s. Installed MV 2.2.1 trial.
Purchase 2.2.1 professional.
Have 2.2.1, 2.2.2, and 2.2.3 installation packages for Professional…
Hello,
Are there a way to get the upgrade package, without have to pay $89.50 for the upgrade package?
Can I do it myself?
or I have to pay for the upgrade package?
Tom
Hello all!
nvent, you can find the upgrade instructions here: CS-Cart Documentation — CS-Cart 4.15.x documentation
UniDeveloper, unfortunately, there is no ability to downgrade your store from CS-Cart Multi-Vendor Edition to CS-Cart Professional one. There is only a special script thanks to which it is possible to automatically upgrade store's database and files from CS-Cart Community to CS-Cart Professional or from CS-Cart Professional to CS-Cart Multi-Vendor Edition. You can find the details of this process here: CS-Cart Documentation — CS-Cart 4.15.x documentation
Please note that it is better to place all the suggestions of adding the new functionality here: http://cscart.uservoice.com
Also, if the standard “Import/Export” functionality does not suit you, you can try to transfer the information from the database directly.
tom437, we are sorry to hear such a question. Probably, there is a way to get the upgrade package without purchasing it, but it is illegal and we do not guarantee that it will work well and will not hurt your store.

$89.50 is a lot for for an update to upgrade. After paying $285 and no e-mail send out to let people know that the update period is about to expired. I had no idea I have to pay for it, I never upgrade my store before.
Anyway thats life.
I’ll just have to pay it.
Tom
Hello, tom437!
The information about our upgrade policy is available at our website: Resources :: Upgrade Policy
And we believe that $89.50 is not too much for the 1-year access to the updates, there are 5-8 releases a year usually.
Also, we have recently started to send out the notifications about the upgrade subscription expiration, so you will receive it next time.
