This may be a noob question, but while I’m not new to web pages and db’s, I am new to shopping carts. Is there any way to “test” a purchase without actually processing a credit card or such? Thanks for any ideas or tips.

Yes add a payment type or cheque or cash.
you can do manual credit card processing…which is the same as the above…

I dont think so, you need to test this as a customer.

ive tested it as a customer and bought something.
ive set a price on a product cheap just to see how everything looks and works.
