Hide Category

I would like to hide categories that don’t have any current product within them, can you tell me the best way to achieve this.

You could just uncheck the “available” box to hide them.

Sorry, I should have explained what I trying to achieve. I would like it if active category would disappear of there were no products available for sale in that category.



Example: Let’s say a category had one product with only one in stock. Now it is sold, I don’t think customers should have to click into a category to see that there is nothing in there.



So in my mind, the query to generate the categories would be based on if there are any active products with stock before the category is displayed.
