Note: The API is being expanded at this point, so this is a limited release that makes use of an iframe to integrate the helpdesk into the CS-Cart Admin Dashboard.

As soon as the API and associated documentation are complete, I will provide a separate release that integrates the functionality into the CS-Cart Admin with hooks and AJAX calls.

Can customers see their tickets in their CS-Cart account?

Can staff see the customer account in Happyfox?

Can staff see the customers orders in Happyfox?

I am currently using kayako, but would love a more integrated solution.

How does happyfox compare to Kayako Fusion?

Is there a self help part of the helpdesk, so that frequent asked questions result in answers being served up like here:


Until the API documentation is complete I will be unable to integrate Orders info.

Staff can see a customer's account in Happyfox.

I will add the customer side ticket dashboard to the next revision.

Kayako is the industry standard and the pricetag reflects that. Happyfox will not approximate Kayako at any level.

Happy Fox has a Knowledge Base included that can be populated with your FAQ's.

The customer needs 2 logins?

In order to view tickets through the CS-Cart Customer Portal, yes they will need a login for the Happyfox account in addition to the CS-Cart Customer Profile.

This will not be the case once Happyfox has a stable API.

The customer can submit a ticket via email or through the Pop-up form on the website and the staff response to the ticket will be automatically sent to the customer's email address. They can respond directly via email so there may never be a need for the customer to login in to the Helpdesk at all.

The initial plan was to only integrate the admin side of the Happyfox into the CS-Cart Admin Dashboard so that they would be able to manage tickets without having to the navigate away from CS-Cart.

I will expand it in the future once the API is better documented under a separate release.
