Handling charge for just one country - how?

Hey everyone,



Shipments to the USA from Australia now incur a $9 surcharge - I think it is to cover extra security…it is a dangerous world…be frightened!



How can I recoup that by adding a $9 handling fee that is just for US shipping addresses?

You'd have to hook into the shipping rate and adjust it based on country code of the shipping address.

Thanks for that. I shipping calculations are done in real time so I added a tax for US Customs. Made it a flat rate of $9 and applied it to the United States only.



But it isn't showing up in my store.



See the attachments - you can see the tax rate is set, you can see that at checkout the tax isn't shown.



At the same time, a sales tax for locals IS working as expected.



Where am I going wrong?



sigh…

Arrrggghhh I found it.



You also have to tick the tax in a shipping method to enable it!



Hope that helps someone else.
