Guidance when creating new products in CS-CART

Hallo everybody,
which is the best way to create new product/s in CS-CART V4.17.1 ? Nowadays we make it using the CLONE option. Is this the normal way or there is also better? Thanks for Your opinion and guidance. brgds Sofia

Cloning is a good way. Just do not forget to change important things (like cloned seo url, etc)

It also depends how complex your products are, and if they can be imported by the 100s, or 1000s in a spreadsheeet.
