GDPR addon and Consent mode 2

I haven’t seen any tickets with similar issues since the 4.18.2 release. In order to be able to give you any advice, additional details are required.

Check it here maybe helps you:

They have free plans. Easy to implement.

To set up GCMv2 do you have to also have the implement the code on the link below to block GTM from loading until the user accepts, and then trigger the accept button to then load GTM? Or is this all supposed to be configured within CS-Cart?

At the moment I just have the GTM, GA, and GDPR plugins and cookies are still being tracked regardless of whether you click accept or not.

I have also noticed that the GDPR and GA plugins bring up the following console errors:

‘gdpr.site_functionality_cookies_title’ is not defined
‘gdpr.site_functionality_cookies_description’ is not defined
‘google_analytics.google_analytics_cookies_title’ is not defined
‘google_analytics.google_analytics_cookies_description’ is not defined
‘google_analytics.google_ads_cookies_title’ is not defined
‘google_analytics.google_ads_cookies_description’ is not defined

Any ideas why this would be happening?

It might be related to this issue, however I’m not 100% sure:

Thanks for the quick reply, but I am using Redactor II already. The clients website is: https://www.dorset-nursing.co.uk/

I have tried changing the editor from Redactor II to TinyMCE and that got rid of those console errors, but instead replaced it with this one:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘caArea’)

It also stops the popup banner for appearing at all… If I set the default to ‘Do not use’ then it comes up with the GDPR and GA errors again.

It is not recommended to use TinyMCE in CS-Cart version 4.18.2 since it creates errors.

Seems to be there is some other issue with your installation. Please contact us via Help Desk on this.

I was recently notified by the Google team with the message:
Policy compliance analysis revealed that although the sites/apps below have a valid consent notice, the way it is worded does not comply with our policy requirements: dodekids.ro

Cs Cart platform is updated to the latest version, I understand that the consent mode does not work in the specifications required by Google?

Hi!

This site returns 403 Forbidden for me. Could you please let me know when it is closed to the general public?

The site is online. I receive orders continuously. https://www.dodekids.ro/

I was able to see it using the Romanian VPN. As far as I can see, everything works as expected, everything is in its place. If there is something in the texts (this is the part where you fill them in yourself), please contact Google support and ask them for details. At the moment I can see that the texts are in Romanian and as I don’t speak that language I can’t give you any advice.
