Free products and gift certifcates

Hi



It sounds silly may be but I am trying to understand how the free products work with the gift certificates. It says in the manual: “Customers are also encouraged to bundle a certificate with any number of products from the store catalog. These products are marked as free products.” - Has anyone any idea about this?

Please let me explain how it works. When a customer purchases a gift certificate on the appropriate page (http://demo.cs-cart.com/professional/index.php?dispatch=gift_certificates.add) on the storefront, there is the “Free product” section where he/she can add necessary products. After that this gift certificate is purchased and sent to a receiver, the receiver will get these products for free when he/she enters the gift certificate code on the checkout page when placing an order. In other words, these products will be added to the cart with zero price.

Can you tell me if its possible to change the free product wording to just add products.
