Failed Orders - PEM File/First Data

I really need someone’s help!

We periodically get order failures with little additional information (would be nice to have more info on these), and one of the things I’ve done on 2 occasions is I’ve pulled the PEM file from FirstData’s site and reuploaded it to my CsCart Installation – for some reason, this fixes the issue. The problem is, I have no idea why this would fix the issue, and it’s really troublesome to have this happen seemingly randomly.

I’ve file compared the old and the new PEM files, and they are showing up identical, so I don’t see what could be happening.
