Error When Placing An Order

Hello,

This message is shown to clients when they order.

"Your order has been declined by the payment processor. Please review your information and contact store administration."

However, the order is placed and I can see it but it is not shown to the client also he doesn't receive an email confirmation.

What is the issue? There is nothing has been changed to the system. Version used is 4.8.1.SP1.

It shows Open status

Please make sure that the Inventory setting for the Open status is set to Decrease

If I change the open status to decrease inventory then It will miss up my inventory. In my shop, we dont process all open status orders because some clients don't pay the invoice (wire transfer) so I have set it to "Do not change" instead of "Decrease".

Initial order status should decrease the inventory, otherwise you will get the error from your initial message. You can set the status to Cancelled (or any other status that increases the inventory) for the orders that were not paid.

You should review the statuses in your store. All statuses with the Inventory set to increase are considered by CS-Cart as "bad" statuses. As a result, you receive error

It was set to "Do not change" status. I don't want to change the inventory unless if we process the order otherwise no change.

What payment method your customer uses?

Not sure why is that because even product gets out of stock cs-cart manages somehow to place order as backordered..

I have online and offline payments such as Cash on delivery and wire trasfer

The system makes addition stock check during order placement. If there is not enough items, order marked as Backordered
