Email Options Suggestion

I don’t know much about server side tech so I am wondering what options for emails folks are using or recommending.



I am on hostmonster which I think allows most of the options



sendmail

smtp mail

php mail



any recommendations and do I have to set something up on the server to make these options work?

I use the PHP mail function

Most Hosting companies already support it. No setup needed except adding your emails in admin
