Which file do I need to edit to close the gap between the ‘Color:’ and the product option? I’ve looked everywhere and can’t seem to find it 
Looks like I answered my own question. For future reference:
[skin]/customer/views/products/components/product_options.tpl
The 5th line or so:
Delete that line
