Which software you guys use to edit the template ? Dreamweaver ? or something else.
Have you tried changing the extension to .txt then open it?
Its not about opening what I need to know is , Which software you guys use to make or edit the template, do you guys use dreamweaver ?
I use dreamweaver (CS4). It doesn't really understand smarty, but it does become apparent when you're missing a quote. But generally dreamweaver does a good job on html and the smarty stuff is just additional data.
Note that I find cs-cart developers have no idea about formatting for readability. Hence the line lengths can be very long in standard templates. White space is your friend when trying to read/understand logic.
