I have a product that is only for sale through Friday. Unfortunately, I am going to be out of town and unable to get online that day - but I need to be able to disable the product so that it doesn't continue to sell after Friday. Is there a way to schedule a product to disable by a certain date?
The only way I see is to create a banner which will refer to the CMS page with the filled Available from and Available to fields which will contain the link to your Hidden product :)
Note: customers still will be able to see the product through direct link, but they will not reach the product through the banner

This add on looks very promising. When the availability expiration comes around, does it automatically remove the item from your storefront, or just disable the ability to make purchases?
