It would be great to have a weekly blog posting from the developers. It would be nice to know what is being worked on and would be a nice connection with the company. There are a few other ecommerce carts that do this and I think it would help attract new customers too.
The only news items on the main site are every 3 months with new releases. Or maybe a subversion system that we can see what new pages have been worked on.
