Hi guys,
I have a client who is on a dialup connection, which is a complete party foul for anyone operating an online store, but location is the reason.
In the admin, she loads the Full List of customers, and by default it sorts them by the first Name.
She would like it to load by Username by default, so as to save her waiting to load a full list, and then having to resort it.
Is there a quick way to do this? I’ve looked in the admin center, and glanced around some of the core files… Any helps is appreciated.
I’m not in the office so I’m not positive this is the correct file, however it should be
/skins/basic/admin/profiles_pages/userlist.tpl
somewhere around line 50 you’ll need to make some edits to alter how the sorting works, you’ll have to look at the code to see what’s going on, again I’m outta the office so I can’t take this any further right now but this should be a step in the right direction to start with…

I actually just had an epiphany after writing this post.
What I did was just copied the link that shows the full list based on username, and added a link to the admin User sidebox.
