I am trying to get better hosting service for our site
I found dedicated server for $60 at 1and1.com for
PU Dual Core
Clock Rate 2 x 2.2 GHz
RAM 2 GB
Storage 250 GB
&
Managed VPS Hosting for $50 at wiredtree
ntel Dual Xeon (8 CPUs)
1024MB Guaranteed SLM RAM
100GB RAID-10 Disk Space
3000GB Premium Bandwidth
which one will be better ?
or any other recommandation ?
sites doen't have much traffic now about 400 visitors from 3 domains
hope it will be better later on.
I’d choose Wiredtree over 1&1 even if the latter offered their service for free. Never again.
There are tons of topics about this already though, so let’s not start another one
1 and 1 RuuuuuuuuuuuNN away quick!!

make sure to check this offer from PhotonVPS
I strongly recommend LiquidWeb Dedicated Hosting… They are not the cheapest by any means but you can get in touch with a real technician within minutes (literally). I would never even consider a different hosting service since moving to them.
This is my setup
Processor: AMD Phenom II X6-1055T HEXA Core (6 cores)
RAM: 4GB DDR2 SDRAM
HD1: SATA Drive (7,200 rpm) (+250 GB 7200 RPM SATA hard drive)
HD2: SATA Backup Drive (+250 GB SATA (7,200 rpm))
OS: Linux OS (+CentOS 5 64-bit)
Bandwidth: 6000GB Monthly Transfer (3000 in + 3000 out) (+100M uplink port)
Monthly Fee: $209.00 /mon
Good Luck…
I use WiredTree and can get in touch with a real person very easily as well. I have nothing but great things to say about their service and support over the last 2 years.
I thinking about 2000 visits per day.
What will be best hosting service ?
is dedicated server too much for us ?

Why not just start with a vps. You can always upgrade when needed.

I agree with this logic. The great thing about a host such as WiredTree (and others such as liquidweb, futurehosting, knownhost, servint, etc…) is that it is very easy for them to upgrade your server or move you to dedicated.
