Our existing and popular EZ Auto Mail addon will provide star-type review requests via email (which also serves to get customers back to your site). Many other transactional emails can be sent using this addon too. Docs are here. Please note that not all email clients properly handle embedded forms (which our sample template uses). Hence it is sometimes best to simply use the stars as links and have the customer enter comments on the site versus directly from the email. The disadvantage to this approach is that it requires separate clicks for each product versus submitting ratings and comments for all products at once.
