CSV302 Import Addon - Problem with image / news etc

hi guys,

i upgraded v224 to v302 via the store import. it seems okay at the time, however, when the importing being processing about 6 hours, the reviews part was disappeared from the admin homepage, and when i click the reviews link, it displayed 404, the same problem happened to the news. see the attachment.

and the product image, i check from the FTP, the images were not imported yet, they are still in the v224 folder. i wanna know if this mean, i need to upload the image by myself or just waiting to import procoessing completed. but it has been processing over 12 hours…

please help.

thank you

Your print screen errors have nothing to do with import issue. Adjust admin.php name with config file (probably you had admin.php default name - just change it)

As to the time it took you to import… how many products do you have, 1 million? even 6 hours sound not normal already…

Try to copy images manually (same folder in 3.02)… I am sure it will help.

hi sok777,

i found why the review and news payge is 404, because the addon was off.

however, when i active the addon, the news and review content can be use, it is blank, there is no content imported from v224.

what to do now?

do you mean, change the name to be the same as the one in previous v224 admin.php, cofig.local.php ?

the image problem, i think you are right, for i did a try.

hi sok777, i just did the solution as you said.

at the beginning, all datas are in the V3 , however, alone with the import processing, all the reviews and news, disappear…

any idea?

I mean, first you have to change admin.php for some other name and second you have to change that name in your new cofig.local.php installation file.

How long it took you now?

For reviews and news…, not sure… compare DATABASE via phpMyadmin, if cscart_news table is properly imported and has same data… If it has data, then you have something wrong configured in new Back office…(check all settings / addons for news) But if you do not have any data in that table, then the import did not go correct…

hi sok777, thank you.

i have to say that i failed to import. but i have another solutions,

at the beginning of the import, when the news or reviews disappear in the database, i export the data out, and also i export the pages, product order, discussion etc, data out. .

next, i install the a new CS3, and import the data to the new database

now, i got all the mostly all the data, the product information, due to the size is too big… i lost some , but i think it is not a too bad idea
