Csv files in OS X

Just switched over to Mac and when I tried to import catalog, CS-Cart congratulated me on both the product import and the additional image import. However, none of the products appeared in the store. They didn’t search from the admin interface either.



I fired up the old Windows machine, opened and resaved the csv files in Programmers Notepad and successfully imported both products and images into the database.



All is well for now, but has anyone had a similar problem with OS X interfacing CS-Cart? Any idea if it has to do with file format, or…



I have no idea, but would like to avoid the Windows machine workaround.
