CS-Cart for a Chinese webshop?

Has anyone used CS-Cart for a Chinese webshop?

Does this work at all or is CS-Cart not useful for China?



I'm getting a lot of requests from China and am considering to open up a store for it, but am not certain if CS-Cart is the way to go with this.

We have Simplified Chinese installed, and our main menu categories and subcategories translated. I see a number of our customers saving their customer profile in Chinese. I'm working with a girl currently to get Traditional Chinese translated and implemented, as there are two written forms of the language.



From memory, mainland China, Malaysia and Singapore use Simplified Chinese.



Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau use Traditional Chinese characters.

Is your site hosted in China? I'm looking for a decent host withing China for a site. It isn't a CS-Cart site, but I need something reliable and at least halfway fast.

Hi Brandon, not its not sorry. We're based and hosted in Australia, but have a sizable Asian population here. We also sell into the Asia Pacific, hence the language options.
